Solo Driver - Air Quality Mapping - Los Angeles, CA - FT

We are looking for mission-aligned drivers to map air quality. Be part of our team collecting hyperlocal and actionable pollution data!

In this position you will drive our air sensor-equipped vehicles through assigned locations. The instruments in the vehicle measure the air continuously as you drive. This position is as a solo driver. You will be the only person in the vehicle.

About The Role

Details

• Full time, Regular position
• $19 per hour
• Consistent schedule & hours (Sun-Thurs 5am- 1:30pm)
• Company Prius vehicle with expenses covered

Job Duties

• Primarily driving (solo driving, no deliveries). About 80% of time
• Determine the most efficient paths to cover assigned territory
• Perform routine operational checks on the vehicle and Aclima system
• Provide miscellaneous logistical support, such as taking vehicles in for servicing, light instrument maintenance or replacement, picking up supplies, etc. About 20% of time
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid CA Class C driver license with clean driving record (no points on license within the past 3 years)
• Valid driver license for at least 3 years
• Pass pre-employment drug test (includes medical and recreational cannabis)
• Safe driving habits and willingness to follow all state traffic laws
• No job too small attitude
• Professional and courteous demeanor
• Punctual and reliable
• Experienced and confident with mobile technology
• Employees are required to be vaccinated with at least one booster prior to start date or request for exemption either due to medical or religious reasons
