- Responsible for the completion of all activities associated with the advance scheduling, pre-registration, and insurance verification of patients for major diagnostic, therapeutic surgical services.
- Primary work functions include: obtaining and entering department appointments, medical, demographic, insurance, and financial information.
- High School diploma required; college or business school education desired.
- Two years customer service experience dealing with the public on the phone or in person required.
- Medical terminology or the successful completion of course within one (1) year of employment required.
- Basic PC software application knowledge and ability to use multiple data systems preferred.
