POSITION TITLE: Sales Associate

REPORTS TO: Sales and Marketing Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: Generate sales and contacts to increase sales activities of organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
• Represents company at trade association meetings and promote product.
• Delivers sales presentation to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
• Meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
• Conducts meetings and training sessions with distributor personnel, customers and specifiers to provide product knowledge and review company sales policies and philosophies.
• Establishes plans and programs to promote and present products to end users and distribution channels.
• Participates with individuals at Jergens on the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies, sales goals, product development, distribution policies, information flow and systems integration.
• Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
• Monitors and reports on competitors market activities.
• Helps develop advertising materials, website content and trade show exhibits.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

1. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in sales, marketing or business, with 1-2 years of experience in sales.
2. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: General office requirements.
