Job Description:
- Perform services on customer yard (Mon-Fri 7AM-4PM)
- Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and to ensure that they are working properly
- Work with a high degree of independence
- Perform all work in compliance with organizational safety, health and environmental policies, and federal regulations
- Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers and pressure gauges
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and follow up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment
- Perform minor adjustment and repairs on various types of truck equipment
Job Requirements:
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work in all climates
- Must supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- 2 Years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
- Must pass a drug test and provide satisfactory results on a criminal background check
