Administrative Assistant

 

Acme Manufacturing has an opportunity available for an administrative assistant! This position will start at $60,000.00-$80,000.00 annually (depending on experience) and is eligible for our full Benefits Package. The Workweek for this position is Full-Time (40 hours per week, Monday-Friday), working standard office hours, primarily out of our office in Cheery Creek (parking provided!). We are looking for a reliable multitasker with the ability to travel. The ideal candidate will have an eye for cost savings/process optimization and the ability to handle all manner of clerical work, scheduling, and general administration.

 

Base pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 annually

 

Work week: Monday-Friday

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Acme Manufacturing Co., Inc. is a mid-sized manufacturing company headquartered in Denver, Colorado seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the CEO/Owner and the Executive Assistant at a private office in Cherry Creek. While employed by Acme, the Administrative Assistant would be working for the CEO/Owner and reporting directly to the Executive Assistant. The ideal candidate for this Administrative Assistant position will be comfortable with performing various basic clerical tasks, managing, and maintaining physical and digital filing systems, and doing general office work.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Process a high volume of emails and physical mail for an office that is not a “paperless” office.
  • File physical documents within specified guidelines.
  • Handle clerical tasks like word processing, filing, scanning, and archiving.
  • Run business and personal errands as needed.
  • Execute thorough but quick research projects.
  • Manage online ordering – place orders, get quotes, track orders, receive orders, dispute orders.
  • Make phone calls to vendors with in-depth, intuitive questions.
  • Make the CEO’s and Executive Assistant’s lives easier – help free up their time to work on other tasks.

 

This position works in a professional office environment and limited travel will be expected within the United States.

 

Who we are seeking in an applicant:

 

This position is intended for an individual with 2-5 years of administrative assistant or executive assistant level experience. You will assume critical functions and be responsible for administrative support for our executive level operations. Attention to detail is key, as well as a mind for cost savings and the ability to monitor multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an administrative assistant or executive assistant.
  • Experience in clerical duties.
  • Experience working under a manager.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • College or Associates degree required.
  • Well-versed in internet research.
  • MS Office experience, including Outlook, Word, and (some) Excel.
  • Must have strong English writing and grammar skills.
  • Must be organized, resourceful, and possess sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Must be willing to make phone calls (not just send emails).
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with situations requiring short turnaround deadlines.
  • Must be prepared to have a manager adjust your frequently shifting priorities.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in assignments and tasks, as assigned.
  • Willing to become a Notary Public if not already certified.
