Job Duties
Perform proper claim handling procedures to close claims in a timely manner
Adhere to client and company guidelines
Audit estimates from contractors or adjusters
Determine if information included in estimate is necessary
Expedite claim process for policyholder
Request and examine documentation
Maintain notes in claim files with timely and informative updates
Escalate claim issues as needed
Draft letters as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years property claims experience preferred
Symbility estimate writing proficiency required
Current Home State or Designated Home State Adjuster License
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to establish strong relationships across the organization, and with external parties
Excellent critical thinking & problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office-including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to obtain and maintain state adjuster licenses as required
Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
Great communications skills both written and verbal
High level of professionalism
Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times
Must be able to walk and stand for extended intervals
