About the role
Acorn Dentistry for Kids has a unique opportunity as our Silverton Clinic Coach. Our Clinic Coach acts in both leadership and support capacities and is critical to ensuring children and their families have fun and comfortable dental experiences (one of our core values is “Be A Little Acorny” to highlight how fun this should be). The Clinic Coach also is responsible for expanding our patient base and maintaining local relationships so that we are able to provide for as much of our community as we can.
This role is highly responsible for team members’ personal and professional growth, upholding Acorn’s excellence in patient care, and promoting our culture and core values. Acorn Dentistry for Kids has set the standard for patient loyalty and team member growth, and we are looking for our next leader to support our vision.
Clinic Coaches have the opportunity to meet with their team and individual team members to establish personal growth and professional achievement goals. Our Coaches must also be able to have Crucial Conversations of support for team members to ensure they are able to live to their true potential. The Coach’s compassion, combined with honest feedback and accountability, is what helps team members reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
- Work with a driven team of 4 dental assistants, 2 front desk professionals, and our Dentist Dr. Jennifer.
- Connect and build relationships with patients and families.
- Establish and build local relationships through creative marketing efforts.
- Create training routines to ensure team success and growth.
- Monitor and discuss success cards with doctor, team captains, and team.
- Expand patient base through local relationships and exceed capacity goals.
- Create and maintain team member schedules.
- Set precedence for customer excellence and establish goals for ongoing team improvement.
- Provide support for both front office and clinical team members.
- Floating between front and back of clinic to support team as needed.
- Sanitation and sterilization.
- orginization of clinic.
- Multitasking between different roles at the same time.

Next steps
Acorn Dentistry for Kids conducts initial phone interviews, and then we invite our top candidates into our clinics to meet our team. We believe in absolute transparency, and we want to make sure our positions are a fit for both us and the candidate. Upon hire there will be up to 1 week of paid training in our Clinic Support Office located in Silverton, OR.
