Job Title - Dental Lab Technician
Location - Atlanta, GA 30350
Duration - Permanent full time role
Shift Hours - Monday - Friday (8AM - 5PM)
Job Duties :
- Facilitate assigned technical area (Fixed / Removable) communications for in process cases and prospective cases for treatment planning.
- Make proactive calls to follow up on completed cases for new doctors and for new products.
- Provide special attention to new doctors and existing doctors / customers that are experiencing concerns.
- Complete an administrative quality inspection on all cases, including checking items on the work ticket, prescription, product & billing accuracy, and adding personal notes where appropriate in the software and work ticket.
- Quality control of inbound completed cases from offshore, in various stages of production. Corrections to the cases as deemed necessary upon QC inspection.
- Order premium or special removables teeth as required. Order parts as deemed required for removables, attachments, and implants.
Skills and Abilities Required :
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Must have computer skills including typing and familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
- Verbally communicate via telephone, maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively verbally and in writing per established procedures and processes.
- Verbally communicate with all levels of staff, maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Takes initiative and attention to detail.
- Excellent listening skills.
Minimum Education and Experience Required :
- A minimum high school diploma or GED.
- 5 plus years broad dental lab technical experience including complex and combination cases. Advanced training in dental technology.
