Position: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule: Mon-Fri 9:30a - 6pm, Enjoy your Holidays and Weekends!

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the pharmacy's point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit card, and electronic payments securely and in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
• Assist customers with inquiries, product location, and other needs.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
• Adhere to all cash handling and security procedures to minimize risks of loss or theft.
• Prepare and compound sterile and non-sterile pharmaceuticals according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Perform inventory management tasks, including ordering and restocking pharmaceutical supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and medication therapy management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) designation is a plus.
• Experience in compounding sterile and non-sterile pharmaceuticals preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing pharmacy duties.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Previous cashier or retail experience preferred.
• Strong numerical aptitude and basic math skills.
