Complete Description:
The SQL Database Developer will be responsible for developing software and completing tasks as assigned as part of an Agile SCRUM team. Tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle

• Main focus on coding and debugging

• Collaborate with Front-end developers

• Define and communicate technical and design requirements

• Provide training, help and support to other team members

• Build high-quality reusable code that can be used in thew future

• Develop functional and sustainable web applications with clean code

• Troubleshoot and debug applications

• Learn about new technologies

• Stay up to date with current best practices

• Conduct tests and optimize performance

• Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve applications

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, and system administrators

Please note - this is an onsite position that will require work at the client location listed above 100% of the time.
Also, this position is an ongoing role that will last into 2023.

Require/Desire Skills
Recent/prior professional experience developing databases in Microsoft SQL Server 2017 or above Required 8 Years
Extensive experience writing Transact SQL (T-SQL) Queries, dynamic queries, indexes, constraints, views, functions Required 8 Years
Extensive experience writing new and understanding/reviewing/fine-tuning existing Stored Procedures Required 8 Years
Fluent in writing Joins and Sub-Queries and visualizing complex queries involving multiple tables Required 8 Years
Extensive experience working with Azure SQL databases and Azure portal features Required 8 Years
Strong knowledge of XML and JSON Data structures Required 8 Years

• knowledge of Data modelling concepts and hands-on experience using data modelling tools (Toad/Erwin). Required 8 Years

Deep understanding of SQL FileStream, FileTable and BLOB data Required 8 Years

• experience using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Required 8 Years

• experience using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Required 8 Years

Good command of Microsoft excel, data validations, data cleaning, manipulation, reporting and pivot features Required 8 Years
Experience using Red Gate SQL Tool Belt Desired 5 Years
