WHO WE ARE:
Arizona Cooperative Therapies (ACT) is a leading Early Intervention agency and is expanding by adding additional programs through the Department of Child Safety (DCS). We currently work with over 1,000 infants, toddlers, and families in East and West Maricopa and Pinal Counties, providing critical Early Intervention and related services. ACT has been supporting the needs of young children and their families since 2013. Arizona Cooperative Therapies is a cooperative compromised of nine member agencies.

POSITION DETAILS:
We are seeking individuals with a Bachelor of Social Work or related degree, with 1 years related work experience. This position will provide home visiting services to children and families identified as at risk who qualify for DCS Family Connections interventions. The home visitor will conduct comprehensive family assessments to guide service delivery; develop outcome‐driven case plans to decrease risk and increase protective factors associated with child maltreatment; deliver tailored and direct services to help families reduce risks, maximize protective factors, and achieve service outcomes and goals using SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time Sensitive); advocate on behalf of families in the community and facilitate services delivery by other organizations/individuals that families can be linked to. Training in all areas will be provided prior to start of service delivery.
This is a full time position that will report to a program supervisor.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS:
This position will attend required DCS trainings annually that teach FC evaluation and intervention skills, will meet specific required DCS timelines, will perform intervention and training with family members and will meet requirements of submitting timely documentation of all service provision and needs of family; will uphold ACT, Department of Child Safety (DCS), and Department of Economic Security (DES) values and mission. Will engage in regular collaboration and communication with ACT Supervisor, DCS State personnel, and all necessary regulatory agencies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide Case Consultation
Develop outcome driven service plans using UBSMART goals to reduce risk factors and child maltreatment
Build strong community relationships and collaborations:
· Connects families in need with local community resources such as shelters, drug and substance abuse counseling, domestic violence training and community supports. Establish relationships with community referral sources and assist in building data base of community resources to support qualifying client families.
POSITION REQUIREMENT:
· Bachelor Degree in Social Work, or related field
· Work experience: Must have 1 year of related experience in social work with family or child welfare
· Must be familiar with trauma theory and trauma informed care, child abuse and neglect, substance abuse, domestic violence, family systems
· Must have reliable transportation, and driving record free from moving violations; Proof of insurance, license and registration required
· Must be able to pass random drug screens, annual background checks and obtain a fingerprint clearance card
· Can perform the duties of the job in a stressful environment.
· Must be able to demonstrate quality organization, written and verbal communication skills
· Proficient computer skills with MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Office 365 and Adobe
· Positive attitude, proactive mentality, responsive, and strong work ethic
