The Sales Coordinator will offer comprehensive assistance to the Sales Department, including coordinating and aiding in the creation of annual and mid-year expense budgets and sales projections.

They will also be responsible for generating account-specific reports for presentations, managing Catalog setup for designated accounts such as College Bookstores, and taking the lead on customer item setups across various accounts like Commercial, E-Com, Mass Market, and Art.

Additionally, the Sales Coordinator will assist in resolving order issues, researching potential new customers, and conducting cold calls for inside sales support.

Updating price lists for all markets as needed, ensuring accuracy of month-end totals, and aiding the Sales & Operations teams with Aged & Excess inventory management are also within their responsibilities.

This role involves a diverse range of tasks and requires a high degree of creativity and autonomy.

Responsibilities include :

  • Assist in preparing Fiscal and Mid-Year Budgets. Generate and execute Sales Reports upon request from the Sales Team
  • Collaborate with both the Sales and Customer Service teams to rectify order issues internally and externally.
  • Coordinate closely with the Sales Team and customers for item setups and any customer-related setup requirements.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to research potential new customers.
  • Ensure price lists are kept current for various markets.
  • Support in managing Aged & Excess stock, raw materials, back orders, and canceled items to streamline processes.
  • Oversee Catalog Set-Ups for key accounts as required.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Sales Team and other departments during collaborative projects.
  • Participate in Sales Cluster meetings and other relevant sales-related gatherings to contribute to projects.
  • Work with Sales Staff to facilitate workflow and scheduling.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary or assigned.

To be considered :

  • Demonstrated 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Coordinator.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working in a sales-driven, customer-focused business environment.
  • Proficient in P&L responsibilities and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with Windows-based operating systems.
  • Able to communicate and motivate effectively through various mediums including in-person meetings, telephone, and written correspondence.
  • Skilled in people management and making effective business decisions in the company's best interests.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Effective presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Exposure to MS Dynamics or similar ERP software is advantageous.
