Senior Test Engineer

Description:
Develop world-class software solutions that automate product manufacturing, laboratory testing, data collection, storage and analysis in a time critical and customer focused automotive manufacturing environment. Develop enterprise solutions for high volume data collection, reporting, and management. Develop expertise in the electromechanical function and testing of our products. Lead design, documentation, and code reviews for both hardware and software development/maintenance tasks. Responsible for creating and documenting software architecture, requirements and specifications from the system level down. Responsible for planning and delivering timely software solutions in a hybrid development environment consisting of both waterfall and agile methodologies. Comply with cybersecurity standards, corporate governance, industry standards and internal best practices ensuring robust designs and implementation. Mentorship and training of lower-level engineers and/or interns Influence and provide operational feasibility feedback to the manufacturing teams. Utilize the latest source code control methodologies to maintain an organized and well documented code base. Consult on the concept, design and implementation of hardware solutions which meet testing requirements. Implement continuous improvement initiatives in support of internal and customer focused requirements.
