What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3D Software Developer position at Actalent?
Description:
You be working on integrating Unreal Engine based applications into our top automotive client's next generation Infotainment system and collaborating with designers and technical artists to bring leading-edge interactivity and visualizations to the vehicle cockpit. Together we will elevate the digital experience by harnessing the best of video game, mobile, and cinematic paradigms
Your Impact:
- Develop for our next generation digital cockpit and infotainment systems
- Work with a community of software developers, designers, technical artists, test engineers, technical product owners, and leads to champion best-in-class quality
- Implement graphical user-interfaces and related middleware and integrate APIs / SDKs that provide services and inputs required by these applications
- Participate in system design, documentation, implementation, and testing to deliver a best-in-class infotainment system
- Be an active participant in an agile product development environment, including stand up meetings, regular sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
Must have skills:
- 2 years of software development using Unreal or Unity
○ Including Game Dev, Entertainment, Visual Effects
§ Material Editing
§ Move camera
§ Stage elements
§ Implement lighting and models and materials and shaders
- Using C or C# with Unreal or Unity
- Some skill with Android (one year minimum, can consider academic projects.)
