Actalent is looking for an Industrial Engineer south of Nashville, TN.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Industrial Engineering / Material Presentation Activities for BEV3 Battery
- SCRUM Product owner for all IE / Material Presentation Tasks and Open Issues.
- Program labor updating and tracking using the Global Benchmark Calculator
- Optimization of Labor Balance.
- Optimization of overall plant material flow, workplace design, and material presentation
- Applying GM Standard Time Data using STDS and pillar chart updates
- Develop / Update SOSs, STSs [Job Instructions and Elemental Breakdown]
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Program Execution Experience [Equipment Install through SORP and launch]
- Deep technical knowledge and ability in Industrial Engineering disciplines [STDS / JES / SOS / MTS / PFEP / Layout]
- knowledge and ability to implement Lean Manufacturing Strategies
- Experience in working with OEMs [Program Management / OEM Timing / Open Issues]
- Experience in troubleshooting equipment [Problem Solving / Debug]
- Understanding of Theory of Constraints [Goldratt / The Goal]
- Experience with Time Cycle Diagrams and Man / Machine Charts. Cycle time by elements
- Pallet calculation and optimization.
- Conveyor speed calculation.
- Practical Problem-Solving Skills [Formal Training / Practical Application] [Red X / 7 Diamond / Fish Bone]
- Experience with Simulation Models
