Job Description

Summary: The main function of an accessioner is to process laboratory samples. They work with other laboratory employees to catalog patient specimens such as blood, urine, or tissue for analysis. They predominantly work with blood. Lab professionals carry out diagnosis and treatment based on the samples received.

Qualifications: AS or BS degree in biological sciences or a related discipline preferred. Experience in a high-paced data entry and multi-tasking environment. Proven attention to accuracy and deadlines. Proven ability to work well independently and within a team.
