Job Title: Activities Leader

Job Description

The Activities Leader is responsible for supporting the Activities Therapist with running group activities for patients who attend the PACE center. The Activities Leader helps set up the activities under the direction of the Activities Therapist, supports patients during the programs, and documents the progress in EPIC for each patient.

Hard Skills

• Cantonese or Mandarin speaking
• Experience in group instruction (e.g., group exercise classes, educational settings, activities therapy in a skilled nursing facility, aftercare programs, ABA therapy)
• Experience working in elderly care (personal or professional)

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Francisco, California.

Work Environment

It is an outpatient day health center. Participants arrive in the morning and either stay for a half day or all day, with two activities run per day. The MMC is a smaller center with a main room, a 'calm room', a small medical clinic, and a kitchen area where staff serves lunch to the participants.
