Job Title: Analytical Chemist Supervisor
Job Description
As a Analytical Chemist Supervisor, you will oversee a team of 6 chemists within the Finished Products Team. Your primary responsibilities will involve a thorough understanding and application of USP, EP, ICH, and FDA guidelines. You will lead laboratory investigations when required, including quality investigations and out of specification investigations. You will serve as the supervisory lead on multiple projects, maintain regular communication with clients, lead complex method validations / verifications, schedule staff on analytical testing, quote new projects, support monthly billing, and review and approve documents. Your role will be primarily supervisory and project management-oriented, with very minimal time spent in the lab.
Qualifications
- (Required) B.S. chemistry, biochemistry, biology or related life science field
- (Required) 2-5 years of lab experience in a GMP setting
- Supervisory experience
- 1 years of Protocol writing experience
- (Required) 2-5 years of Analytical Chemistry experience running HPLC, GC, dissolution

Work Environment
You will be working in a laboratory setting in a Quality control lab. There are 4 teams on the chemistry side, each having around 5-6 chemists per supervisor. The lab has seen significant expansion over the last 2 years and boasts a modern look. All chemists work in shared spaces using laptops, with scientist level individuals having their own desk.
