We are seeking a Commercial Architectural Designer who desires to grow with a team of talented and dedicated design professionals. As a dedicated team member within our firm, you will be responsible for managing and producing interior design projects under the supervision of the firm leadership throughout all design phases. You will have the resources of a global-sized firm with the environment of a close-knit team!

Summary:
Designer 1 is an entry-level position for basic interior design assignments and working with the project team to assist overall efforts to complete various project phases.
Designer 2 is responsible for basic interior design assignments and working with the project team to assist overall efforts of completing various project phases. Designer 2 is responsible for working with the project team to provide design support primarily in project administration, design development, and drawing production in all phases.
Designer 3 is responsible for developing, organizing, and executing the conceptual design of a project as well as utilizing creativity, foresight, and judgment to meet project requirements and objectives through project completion.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to work in a team environment
Knowledge of project deadlines
Knowledge of expectations related to high-quality services to clients
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Possess basic hand and CAD drafting skills
Possess space planning skills and interests in programming
Basic knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, materials application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness
Basic knowledge of furniture, fixture, and equipment (FF&E), architectural/interior finishes, lighting, art signage, color, and materials to carry out design intent
Basic knowledge of building regulations, life safety codes, and ADA requirements
Basic knowledge of the construction process as it relates to the drawings being produced
Basic knowledge of sustainability, LEED guidelines, and WELL Building preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop
Proficiency in Revit is preferred
Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign graphic software preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct field surveys as required; field surveys must be easy to read and thorough.
Assist in the preparation of drawings for all design phases.
Update design documents as needed for all levels of designers.
Develop solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
Prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings
Build models for client/project team review.
Provide research and compile data during design phases.
Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc.
Participate in design charrettes and project team meetings.
Participate in client meetings as directed.
Participate in the construction process as requested (site visits, punch lists, submittals, shop drawing review, etc.)
Attend "lunch and learn" events and other vendor presentations on an ongoing basis.
Complete timesheet daily and expense reports accurately and on time.
Embrace specific steps to create, develop and promote a diverse workforce and to promote an inclusive environment.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture at an accredited University plus:
Designer 1: 1 years experience
Designer 2: 4 years experience
Designer 3: 6 years experience
