Job Description

The Sterile Production Technician will conduct cGMP manufacturing of sterile pharmaceutical dosage forms for commercial manufacturing. Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Sterile Production Technician will work hands-on in ISO7 and ISO5 areas with a variety of manufacturing production equipment and technologies. Responsibilities include production equipment setup, material weighing, batch manufacturing, product sterilization, sample submission, and performing filling operations under an ISO5 environment. The technician ensures compliance with company Safety Policies, GMP, and SOPs, reports any workplace hazards, and prepares for production runs by reviewing schedules and identifying batch-specific requirements. The role also involves operating pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, maintaining cleanliness and sanitization, accurate documentation, participating in training opportunities, assisting with the training of new operators, and supporting non-conformance investigations. The technician must manage heavy workloads and aggressive timelines, possess technical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment, and ensure error-free documentation.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Ledgewood, New Jersey.

Work Environment

Various clean rooms (ISO 5 & 7), Monday to Thursday, 8am-6:30pm (4 ten-hour shifts)
