Job Title: Assistant Project Engineering Coordinator / Project Manager Assistant
Job Description
The Assistant Project Engineering Coordinator/Project Manager Assistant will act as the capital process expert. This role involves receiving purchase orders (PO) with multiple line items and tracking these projects for the Project Manager (PM). Responsibilities include reconciling projects, ensuring financials are properly closed out, and managing the project lifecycle from start to finish. For instance, if a forklift is needed, this person will obtain quotes, secure capital requisitions, and ensure timely delivery to the correct facility and person. The position requires strong organizational skills, particularly in managing capital needs using Excel, and involves supporting approximately 10 PMs while reporting directly to Heather.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Work Environment
Hours are flexible, starting between 6 and 8 am, with a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday and minimal overtime, if any. The position includes 15 holidays. Workers cannot wear jewelry, fake eyelashes, or nail polish and must wear a uniform, cap, and PPE gear. This is a long-term contract role with a history of long-term placements, some lasting 25 years.
