Description:
The Associate Software Engineer (ASPE) will work as a member of the global diagnostics research and development team in developing manufacturing test software applications for PCBA’s, electro-mechanical sub-systems, and complete instruments for innovative diagnostic products. The ASPE will work with electrical, mechanical, product, and software engineers to define software requirements and develop applications and documentation for development work and the manufacturing test process. The test systems and software will be applied to products in development and internal and external global manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities:
• Development and maintenance of software tools and test scripts for PCBA, sub-assembly, and system-level functional tests and manufacturing tests
• Development and maintenance of NI TestStand test sequences
• Development and maintenance of database migration and other system synchronization tools for test systems
• Development of tools to create test reports and statistical reports based on test data
• Communicate complex technical situations in an understandable way.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with NI TestStand
• Experience with Power BI or other statistical reporting platforms
• Experience in developing software and scripts for Linux devices
• Experience in work with cloud resources and connections (DB’s, Data Storage, Azure, App services, Logic Apps API services, VMs, etc.)
• Experience with source control and versioning software, Git HUB preferred
• Experience with authorization/authentication protocols and secure data transfer methods transfer methods (SAS token, Key, Gigya, etc.)
• Proficient at reading schematics and understanding circuit functions
• Programming for microprocessors (C, C )
