What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Controls Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
The Automation Controls Engineer will be responcible for cradle to grave machine designs with integrated controls.
Task will include:
-Helping Design new machines in auto cad/Inventor
-Doing electrical designs for the machine in Auto cad electrical
-Programing PLC (Allen Bradley) into machines from scratch
-Setting up HMIs
-Troubleshooting any issues that arise in the machines
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree in engineering or related discipline (BSEE degree preferred)
• 5 years of experience in the automation industry
• Steel industry experience (nice to have)
