What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Technician position at Actalent?
Description:
- Build custom panels designed for production use.
- Modify, Troubleshoot and maintain automated machines utilizing equipment such as programmable controllers, HMI’s, servos, and VFD's.
- Perform machine and control panel wiring.
- Diagnose, replace, and repair faulty mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components of machines and equipment throughout the plant.
-Opportunities to get involved with robots and 3D printing
-Working alongside Actalent controls engineer in construction, build, start up of fully automated weld/fill lines
Skills:
Troubleshooting, rockwell, allen bradley plc, siemens plc, automation, plc troubleshooting, plc programming, electrical, allen-bradley
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Two-year technical degree; or related experience in the automation field
- Programming/troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley preferred)
- Hands on experience working with machinery and robotics
