Electronics Manufacturing company is seeking a Buyer II to join their growing team! This individual will be a crucial part of the supply chain team and help assist day to day operations. Ideal candidate will be experienced in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing of highly complex mechanical components. Ideal candidate will have professional experience buying within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the Purchasing and Delivery of Raw Materials to Machining Suppliers
- Track and Monitor the Progress on all Open Purchase Orders to Assure on Time Delivery
- Identify and Execute Cost Reduction Opportunities
Requirements:
- 1-3 Years' Experience as a Procurement Agent
- Experience with MRP Systems
- Previous Indirect Purchasing Skills
- Experience Purchasing Medical or Electrical Parts
- Ability to Negotiate Pricing, Delivery and Terms
- Extensive Experience in Microsoft Suite
- Bachelors Degree is Preferred
Needed Skills:
- Knowledge of Complex Mechanical Components
- Proficient in Excel
- Background in Cost Negotiations, Purchase Orders and On Time Delivery
