What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemist/Analyst position at Actalent?
A growing pharmaceutical company is looking for an Analyst to join their team. As an Analyst, you will be working in a lab setting, running a variety of wet chemistry techniques along with analytical instrumentation like LC-MS. You also will be following GLP regulations.
Description:
- Run biological extractions on biological samples like urine, blood, plasma and etc.
- Perform wet lab extractions and then will move into LC-MS (HPLC-Mass Spec)
- Operate robotics for liquid handling
- Work with balances, pH meter, pipettes
- Software: eWorkbook (every chemist has a tablet)
Qualifications:
- B.S. Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology or related Life Science Degree
- HPLC or LC-MS or Mass Spec experience is preferred
- GLP experience preferred
