What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemist ***URGENT HIRE position at Actalent?
Description:
Support Upstream R&D initiatives and related project teams through supporting development and implementation of robust drug product formulations and processes. Serve as a functional team member and will support development of new products through chemical synthesis, labeling, separations, purification, etc. Will primarily be working with Ion Exchange Chromatography on a focused project but will get exposure to other laboratory techniques on various projects as needed.
- Routine execution of tasks as described in either a testing protocol or batch record
- Perform radioanalytical techniques to measure samples
- Data compilation and interpretation and summarization
- Scientific writing including batch records, laboratory notebooks, summary reports
Skills:
chemistry, organic chemistry, r&d, research & development, formulation, gmp
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Achievement of a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or related field
- Research experience in undergrad or grad program preferred. Exposure to radiochemistry is a strong plus.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is desired with a familiarity with cGMP guidelines.
