What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemist position at Actalent?
Description:
This position is responsible for quality control for in process and finished product analysis of baby food product. The tests may include Ascorbic Acid, % Sucrose, Acidity, and Total Solids, pH testing, titration, and ICP testing. These results will be communicated with plant floor operators to determine solutions to problems and product that is out of specification. Must also be responsible for following all good manufacturing process. They will also be responsible for writing and compiling reports. This person will also be responsible for helping out in the Micro lab when needed. This facility tests the following: peas, apples, butternut squash, sweet potatoes.

1. Must have a Bachelors degree within a life science field.
2. 6 months of Laboratory Experience (academia is good)
