**Remote Civil 3D Drafter -Must have own Civil 3D on personal computer - 8 week assignment.**

Job Description

• Use Civil3D to create pipeline alignment sheets and plats, exhibits, and permit drawings used to construct pipeline projects
• Prepare design drawings with plan, section and detail format or plan and profile as designated
• Prepare sketches of details not included on existing drawings to accurately reflect as-installed field conditions
• Prepare drawings, forms, maps, and lists based on approved details provided by designers and engineers
• Prepare ALTA surveys and Land Survey Plats

Qualifications:

• Candidate MUST have AutoCAD and Civil 3D on their computer
• 3 years of experience drafting and creating alignment sheets from survey data
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and legal descriptions drafting
• Oil and gas industry experience OR exp. within commercial development, highways, etc.
• Reading and understanding maps, plat maps, as-builts, construction drawings and gas service records for existing condition interpolation
• Robust knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience with Plat Mapper preferred (or something similar)
• Applicants will have a basic understanding of survey procedures and data collection and a level of knowledge to work independently
• Ability to work on multiple projects using raw field data and computer data
• Ability to apply land surveying methodologies, formulas, principles, and techniques to solve surveying-related problems
• Ability to review their own work for accuracy and completeness and the initiative to recommend solutions or improvements as appropriate
• Customer service and team-oriented
• Should demonstrate they are a self-starter, organized, attentive to detail, and able to work under stress to meet deadlines

Work Site

• This is a fully remote position. Working hours are around the loose range of 7:30am-5pm CT. Must have your own computer with AutoCAD and Civil3d already downloaded.
