What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Assistant position at Actalent?
Description:
- Sample accessioning, use hand held scanners, touching blood samples to scan in bar codes to document samples.
- Unpacking fedex boxes, holds 4 inner boxes with ice packs (about 25 pounds).
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Perform laboratory testing on biological samples
- Perform maintenance on testing equipment
- Perform calibrations on testing equipment
- Update SOPs
- Problem solve and trouble shoot testing samples
- Identify testing inconsistencies
Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Lab experience preferred
- Science Degree preferred
