Description:
Responsibilities
* Performs routine and complex laboratory analyses involving sample receiving, processing, and result reporting
* Provides training to clinical laboratory personnel
* Ensures instruments and equipment in the clinical lab are functioning properly and maintained by performing or arranging scheduled maintenance in a timely manner
* Participates in instrument validations, proficiency testing, and quality assurance activities
* Utilizes good documentation practices (GDPs) and follows laboratory quality control and quality assurance policies
* Complies with safety policies and procedures
* Complies with QC and QA policies and procedures
* Ensures inventory of clinical laboratory supplies and materials are available to complete required job functions
* Other duties as assigned
