Job Title: Compounder

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compounder to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for retrieving and accurately measuring ingredients, mixing various substances, melting solids, and diluting ingredients as necessary. This role requires you to maintain quality standards by verifying the weight and contents of raw materials, conducting in-process batch inspections, and documenting all process events. Additionally, you will be responsible for sampling and testing batches, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines, and maintaining accurate documentation. This position demands flexibility to work overtime and adhere to strict safety and sanitary guidelines.

Hard Skills

• Experience with scales and measurement of grams and pounds
• 1 years of experience in liquid flavor compounding

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Branchburg, New Jersey.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to odors, fumes, airborne particles, and noise. You will be required to wear safety glasses, non-slip steel-toed shoes, hairnets, facial hair nets, ear plugs, and lab coats or coveralls on the production floor. The team is closely-knit, predominantly bilingual, and smaller compared to larger firms in the industry.
