A leading General Contractor in the United States is looking to add a Project Engineer to their team! The Project Engineer will have the opportunity to work on projects ranging from $100 million to $1 billion. They will be working with one of the most prestigious firms in the country and gain valuable experience that will propel their career. The ideal candidate is hard working, ambitious, has strong problem solving skills, and experienced in building Construction.
Description:
- Ensure Contract Document Logs are maintained and updated as needed
- Accurately process and distribute submittals and RFI’s
- Participate in and write notes, instructions or minutes from meetings that clearly communicate discussion agreements, decisions, and action
- Proactively seek to understand customer goals and needs and consistently look for ways to support them
- Ensure planned deadlines are met
- Continually seek to understand customer goals and needs and act with a sense of urgency in meeting customer needs and demonstrating value
- Develop industry relationships and expand professional networks that have potential to generate opportunities for the firm
Qualifications:
-5-7 years of experience in Construction
-Prior experience working on vertical construction projects
-Experience with coordinating sub contractors, submittals, RFI's, and scheduling
-Strong problem solving skills and ability to provide solutions in a short period of time
-Bachelors Degree in Construction or Engineering
-Experience working on Educational Projects is preferred
