What are the responsibilities and job description for the Control Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
Actalent is looking for an engineer (or work experience) in robotic, controls and automation. This person will be setting up and trouble shooting issues with the robotics.
Preferred Requirements:
* Should be able to independently troubleshoot robotics and automation equipment (Durr, Fanuc, PLC5, Control Logix) and continuously evaluate equipment for quality and delivery improvements.
* Experience with Rockwell Allen Bradley PLC5 and Control Logix software. Must be able to coordinate the automation team for current and future actions Union Experience.
* Experience w/ manufacturing automation troubleshooting, set up and repair.
* Ability to program new robotic functions and tasks along with de-bug equipment when it goes down
Additional:
• Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other automation problems
• Update program backups for automation
• Program new installations of paint tooling and conveyor systems
• Reprogram automation for engineering changes and improvements
• Coordinate automation campaigns
