Description:
The primary duty of the Mechanical Engineer is to provide mechanical design and engineering support for the new switchgear line (MVSG). This position will assist the overall team to meet the departmental mission of providing quality, timely, and safe designs and deliverables to all our customers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• (4) Year Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Design or related field. • 5 years of experience in related engineering role. • 2 years of equivalent manufacturing experience with production of Generators, Power Equipment Centers, and Switchgear. • Proficient with 3-D CAD software, preferably AutoDesk Inventor and NASTRAN. • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including collaborating with other teams and providing constructive feedback. • Detail-oriented and accurate with a positive can-do attitude. • Ability to critically analyze problems and develop effective solutions. • Excellent time management, leadership, organization, and prioritization skills. • Ability to travel occasionally (1-3(10%-15%) times per year).
