What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drafter position at Actalent?
Description:
Drafter/designer will be responsible for but not limited to the following: - Ability to read/interpret drawings/standards to analyze/solve problems. - Knowledge of Computer applications such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. - Possess a strong team commitment, must be highly motivated and have strong positive outlook, interpersonal, written, and - Assist in Gas Engineering and Design - Ensure that engineering designs comply with Columbia Gas and People's Natural Gas policies and procedures, and state and federal regulatory codes. - Prepare drawings, permits, easements, other relevant documents, and document projects in computerized systems for each project. - Work a flexible schedule, including overtime, as needed to meet engineering needs including local travel. - Complete LMS Modules prior to due date Comply with all Safety Standards and Practices - Submit timesheets and expense reports on their due date - Understand Incident Reporting Procedures verbal communication skills.
