What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driller Helper position at Actalent?
Description:
The driller helper will be assisting the drill crew/driller with loading and unloading augers (approx. 50 lbs), preparing for drilling, and maintaining the equipment.
Drillers are performing geotechnical drilling by boring holes deep into the ground for purposes such as geological research, oil, and gas production, mining exploration, water extraction, and construction or demolition.
This person would be responsible for making sure maintenance is caught up, tools are taken care of, day-to-day operations, and reports.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking & can be held accountable for their performance.
