Description:

Industrial & Commercial electrical consulting with direct communication between owners, clients, architects, M&P firms, manufacturers contractors and municipalities. Defining / maintaining project scope requirements as well as additional services. Interdisciplinary coordination throughout the length of a project. (i.e., architectural / HVAC layouts). Site surveying for existing electrical conditions. Power distribution layouts and circuiting for buildings / site equipment & HVAC. Preliminary architectural plan review. National Electrical Code. SES sizing, wire sizing, breaker sizing, voltage drop calculations, load calculations, fault current calculations, one-line diagrams, bonding & photometrics. IECC lighting standards / criteria / controls. Drafting & design of construction documents in AutoCAD from start of project to finish. Plan reviewing / redlining / markups. Construction administrations, submittals, and RFI’s. Revit and PV Design experience. Mentoring drafters in design standards. SKM experience. Electrical consulting (MP & E Firm). Reporting directly to Senior Designer and Engineer. Power & lighting distribution layout. Drafting of construction documents in AutoCAD. Construction administration, submittals & RFT’s. National Electric Code Design. Over Current Protection. Fault Current Calculation.

Breakdown of role:

• Managing people: 20% of time

• Supervise 5 people (timecard checks, OOO, team planning, events, employee reviews)

• QA/QC: 50% of the job
