Electrical Technician

Job Description: This position will support electrical and electronic engineering activities towards development and sustainment of electronic medical equipment systems. Supports electrical and electronic engineering activities, often involving specialized equipment in a laboratory or bench environment, in the definition, design and development of products.
• Maintains detailed documentation through all phases of development, testing and analysis.
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
• Constructs, operates, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains tests equipment, systems.
• Troubleshooting, installing and repairing electrical and mechanical components.
• Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems.
• Reviews or develops processing or manufacturing instructions.
• Builds or assembles prototype materials, components, subassemblies and assemblies.
• Performs tests, analyzes data and writes reports Skills: Test Procedure, Electrical, Mechanical, Troubleshooting, Electrical Wiring, Calibration, Calibration Documentation Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline
• 3 years of related experience
• Prior experience in a lab/regulated environment
