Description:
As a software developer, you will be designing and developing embedded real time solutions in an Agile team. You will be working closely with YANG modeling, and embedded C programming in a Linux environment.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop software written in C / C / YANG.
• Develop software for embedded solutions using Agile methodologies.
• Support software through complete lifecycle (define, design, develop, support).
• Troubleshoot issues and work with hardware, software, and systems engineers to resolve.
• Test software via test driven development, automated unit testing, and comprehensive integration testing.
• Collaborate with other design/test teams and support organizations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Software/Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5 - 10 years of work experience focused on embedded software development.
• Extensive C / C / YANG programming language experience.
• Development on and for Linux operating system.
• Working knowledge of mutual exclusion, synchronization, interrupt handling, inter-process communication, and other real time software concepts.
• Automation and test experience, including with physical hardware.
• Embedded C, C , and YANG.
• Real-time OS and embedded systems.
• YANG modeling and toolchains.
• Agile development methodologies.
• Development tools such as: Bitbucket, Git, JIRA, Confluence, GDB, Yocto.
• Northbound Interfaces (NBI) such as CLI, Netconf, REST/HTTP, and gRPC.
• Ability to seek out answers and work independently.
• Ability to work in a lab environment and integrate software onto custom hardware.
• Independent self-starter who is committed to delivering on assertive timelines.
• Positive work attitude, highly motivated, and a willingness to learn.
