What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer In Training (EIT) position at Actalent?
Description:
-Great organized problem solver who can function effectively outside their comfort level in a fast-paced work environment.
-Genuinely optimistic person that is accountable, responsive and ethical.
-A student in their final semester or graduate from an ABET accredited structural/civil engineering school that is passionate about structures and opportunities to develop into professional engineers. Must be ambitious and want to learn the engineering content that is required to pass the professional engineering exam.
-Must possess EIT license or capable of passing the EIT exam within six months of hire.
-Production engineering – produce accurate calculations, models and daily designs.
-Site evaluations and inspections.
-Proficient with structural CAD and spreadsheets.
-Ability to take direction from experienced engineers and CAD technicians.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills / interaction with clients.
-Time management.
-This position does have some hybrid flexibility and can pay up to $75k!!!
