Job Title: Engineering Specialist

Job Description

The Engineering Specialist will be responsible for establishing new manufacturing and test processes, as well as supporting full-scale production of the Condor MK2 terminal. The candidate will bring ideas and concepts to production using AutoCAD and Solidworks.

Responsibilities

• Establish new manufacturing and test processes.
• Support full-scale production of the Condor MK2 terminal.
• Bring ideas and concepts to production using AutoCAD and Solidworks.
• Maintain and support SMT equipment.
• Handle PCBA assembly equipment for engineering and mechanical tasks.
• Utilize DFMEA in processes.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Solidworks.
• Experience with drafting and design.
• Knowledge of SMT equipment for maintenance and support.
• PCBA assembly equipment experience.
• Engineering and mechanical expertise.
• Experience with DFMEA.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with SMT and/or PCBA assembly equipment and processes.
• 4 years of experience with SMT equipment operation in a production setting.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced with low volume and high mix. The products are telecom and military devices used in navy applications. The company is a small, tight-knit organization that is gradually scaling operations in the US after originating from Bavaria.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00/hr.
