Description:
Currently seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Saint Charles, MO team. This is a great opportunity to work for one of the only companies in the United states that designs and manufactures laser diodes. Engineering Technician will be responsible for: - ESD Protocols - Building and putting together wire harnesses - Hands on product development and soldering under magnifications - Assisting team in building electrooptical products and arrays - Running tests to record optical and power data (very important for moving projects and product development forward).

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 year Technical Degree in electronics or similar - Minimum 2 years of hands-on industry experience working as an engineering technician or in a similar role/capacity (someone who can come up to speed quickly) - Hands on experience testing and troubleshooting smaller scale products - Experience putting together/building and troubleshooting electronics (must have experience handling and dealing with electronics) - Experience with soldering - Knowledge of board level components - Hands on experience working in a lab type environment - Detail oriented - Hard working individual with a good head on their shoulders - Someone who wants to grow within their career and be with the company long-term. - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Oscilloscopes and digital multimeters Nice to Have's: - Experience with test setups strongly preferred, but not required - Experience working in clean room environment - Experience working with lasers and diodes - Experience in semi conductor industry.
