Description: Entry Level - 1st Shift Lab Technician for a FDA Regulated Pharmaceutical company
This will require physical labor - candidates are required to lift up to 50 lbs of lab material.
Defatting Raw Materials (pulling ether, acetone, drying, weighing out)
• Extraction (setting up product)
• Gross Filtration (set up & cleaning)
• Clarification (set up & cleaning)
• Aseptic processing (set up & cleaning)
• Dialysis (filling bags, emptying/cleaning dialysis tanks)
• Bock Centrifuge (molds / inhalants)
• Making lab solutions/reagents
• FTQ Paperwork distributions / inventory control requirements
• Chores (scales, freezers, pH meters, pass through, nitrogen, lab room assignments)
• Freeze Drying (loading reconstitution, cleaning)
• Amicon DC-10 (Std. Cat Pelt Use)
• Centrifuge DPR-6000
• Ball Mill (Mite Processing)
• Dilution Compounding
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in a Physical Science(Biology, Chemistry, etc.)
-0-6 Months Experience
Plus:
-Biopharma Experience
*Open to seeing consultants that do NOT have a College Degree if they have 1 years experience working with a Laboratory type setting.
