Entry Level Lab Support

Actalent is hiring for several lab processors in the Tulsa area!

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving and unpacking samples
• Physically delivering orders and samples throughout different areas/floors of the hospital and/or clinic
• Identifying the test the sample is for
• Checking for contamination
• Preserving the sample properly
• Sorting and cataloging each item accurately
• Unpacking and routing specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identifying and labeling specimens
• Packing and shipping specimens to proper testing facilities
• Properly preparing and storing excess specimen samples
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Resolving and documenting any problem specimens
• Making sample follow up phone-calls
• Introducing and preparing biological specimens to the laboratory to ensure accurate processing

Skills & Qualifications:

No certification required

Experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred

Ability and willingness to receive and deliver samples throughout a large hospital is critical in this role
