What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Mechanical Drafter position at Actalent?
In search of an entry level CAD technician that can help out for a client in Hot Springs, Arkansas
Description:
- Position will work closely with project engineers and designers a to perform drafting duties, including but not limited to, creation and modification of 3D models and drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD software, while adhering to standard procedures for CAD processes / data management.
- Prepare 3D layouts in Autodesk Inventor for all equipment types. trimmers, stackers, sorters, conveyers
- Prepare accurate Autodesk Inventor detailed drawings for component fabrication, purchased components, customer installation
- Export Bill of Materials, PDF drawings and DXF files from Inventor as needed, using established macros
- Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design or manufacturing changes
- Maintain project design information in a neat, organized manner per current procedures / standards
- Adhere to design policies and standards as required by project and department
- Attend Project and Design review meetings to document and implement required modifications
- Adhere to department filing standards for drawings to maintain up-to-date drawings
