Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering or Science
• 9 years’ experience in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Consulting
• NJ PE required
• Understanding and application of environmental regulations, hazardous materials handling and disposal requirements
• Ability to provide guidance to junior level engineers and scientists

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of environmental engineering analysis and design tasks related to: planning, environmental site investigation (subsurface and hazardous materials), remediation design and remedial operations, 
• Perform and manage site investigations to observe and document existing conditions
• Complete and review planning documents and design calculations
• Assist in the preparation of bid packages, design drawings and technical specifications
• Provide responses and solutions to technical and contractual issues during the projects
• Provide technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new construction 
• Engage with existing clients to expand our services and pursue new clients to support growth of the environmental business in the region
• Assist in the preparation of proposals for environmental consulting services
• Attend industry and business development functions as a representative of the firm
• Supervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications and coordinate with other disciplines as required to deliver quality engineering services
• Mentor and develop junior engineering staff
• Coordination and presentation of design submissions with clients and environmental regulatory agencies

Salary : $160,000 - $205,000
