Description:
Looking for someone with experience in environmental engineering, geology or basic environmental science to support 5-6 environmental cleanup projects in Buffalo, NY. 90% of the work is brownfield clean up programs. This person would start at the Tonawanda Coke plant and move around as needed. Would help manage community air monitoring program(s) and daily compliance monitoring. Manage routine permit compliance monitoring including surface water sampling and reporting. Keeping track of it, reporting it. Assisting in soil and waste sampling, ground water sampling. Either alone or with someone else. They would write some of the more routine reports. Weekly and monthly field reporting. Working with 3 other employees on average.
