What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
Candidates will be testing concrete, soil and asphalt before concrete is pour at a construction site. They will be following a SOP with specific instruction on what test needs to be completed and how it will need to be completed. Candidates will be performing the testing on concrete, soil and asphalt and then writing field reports on analysis. They at times may be performing some lab work on the field testing.

Construction field experience (verify on resume and with references that they have been on a construction site in previous role) Clean driving record (must be able to drive a company vehicle) Basic experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to lift 50-80lbs and pass a physical and drug screen High school graduate or equivalent required Ability to read and understand construction plans Strong communication skills (verify they are able to have customer face to face interactions) Ability to work independently Plus: PCC-TECI Certifications ACI Level 1 Certifications HTCP Certifications DOT testing experience
