Description: Field Service Engineer
- Traveling to customer sites
- Troubleshooting Allen Bradley (mostly) and some Siemens PLC's and drives
- Commissioning
- No programming from scratch, but will be trained on how to do that
**Mostly motors/drives experience (75%) and 25% PLC experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
- Either a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a similar field) and 2-3 years of field experience OR an Associates Degree in Electrical (or a similar field) and 5 years of field experience
- Experience troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLC's or a similar type of PLC
- Experience with either Allen Bradley, Siemens, or ABB drives
PLUS:
- Siemens
- Metal, Steel, Aluminum Industry
Work Environment:
Travel is around 75%. Could be up to a month on, then will get a few weeks off. Largest concentration of customers is on the eastern end of the U.S. For example - Pittsburg, Indiana, Cleveland, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia. Nothing outside of the U.S.
Option to use the company vehicle but typically everyone uses their own vehicle and get reimbursed $0.56/mile. Eligible for per diem, $55/day. Cannot sit remote. Needs to be in Cleveland when they aren't traveling. 75% travel is on the high end but there are times when they aren't traveling and that's when a remote schedule/someone not local gets difficult.
